Day to day laboratory works require
many equipment’s, instruments, plastic wares, consumables, etc. Microcentrifuge tubes are one of those
consumables which are like staple of laboratory research. They are widely used
in molecular biology and biochemistry to store minuscule amounts of liquids.
Abdos Lab manufactures microcentrifuge tubes which are of highest quality of polypropylene and hence
ultra-clear. They are created in such a way that maximum sample is recovered
due to highly polished interior tube surface. These tubes are DNase, RNase and
Pyrogen free produced under aseptic or germ-free conditions with high sterility
control and further exposed to gamma radiation for better sterilization. This,
they are safer to be used in molecular and biochemical experiments. Also,
amber-coloured tubes are used for light sensitive samples which do not allow light
to penetrate through the samples.
Microcentrifuge tubes have flat caps to avoid popping; also pierce able and with integral snap
caps making it efficiently leak-proof. Caps are such that can be handled with
one hand i.e. easily opened or closed. Cylindrical plastic ware with conical
bottoms makes them idle choice for centrifugation in microbiology,
biochemistry, immunology experiments, etc.
As a product of polypropylene, they
can be used for storage or procedures at low temperatures and also with various
organic solvents like chloroform. The tubes are autoclavable and with frosting
on the tube’s surface makes writing easier. All the tubes have large
graduations making the identification easier. The tubes can resist maximum
20,000 RCF.
